What experience do you have working with families?

I have worked with children and families who have struggled with various life changes and adjustment periods, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma and abuse, and self-esteem issues.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I volunteered at Big Brothers, Big Sisters and I saw the need for children who needed mentoring or counseling services. This prompted me to want to pursue the counseling field.

What are your strengths?

I like to ensure that all sessions and interactions are positive and collaborative, working towards achieving your desired goals. I treat all of my clients with dignity, respect, kindness and openness to avoid any judgments and biases.

What else would you like families to know about you?

I have over 13 years of experience in areas such as: case management, psychotherapy, foster care system, trauma and abuse, mental health treatment, and individualized education programs (IEPs). I am also a proud Navy veteran!
